For the fifth year in a row, Acadiana Security Plus (ASP) has moved further up the list on the SDM 100 Report—from No. 49 to No. 45 in 2022.  This is our 19th year as a ranked company; the Report is a trusted benchmark demonstrating our leadership in the security industry nationwide.

Despite supply chain issues, and the cost of replacing hundreds of soon-to-be-defunct 3G transmitters, ASP found a way to adapt and overcome the challenges.

“The housing and job market have remained strong in Acadiana post-pandemic; giving us some stability despite equipment shortages, delays, and increasing costs,” said Kenny Klusman, managing partner of ASP. “But we wouldn’t be here without the strong support of our loyal customers, and a community that understands the benefits that come from working with a local security company. We are committed to providing the very best in life safety, with reliable technology and outstanding customer service.”

The 2022 SDM 100 ranks U.S. companies that provide electronic security systems and services to both residential and non-residential customers. This ranking is based on recurring monthly revenue, and is typically the basis for valuation of a security company.  Ranked companies were asked to submit financial information showing revenues from the sale, installation, service and monitoring of electronic security systems – such as intrusion and fire alarm, access control, video surveillance, and related low-voltage systems. The vast majority of the firms ranked are privately held.
